Built by Fairfield Shipbuilding & Engineering Company, Glasgow, Scotland, 1893. 12,950 gross tons; 622 (bp) feet long; 65 feet wide. Steam triple expansion engines, twin screw. Service speed 21 knots. 2,000 passengers (600 first class, 400 second class, 1,000 third class).

Built for Cunard Line, British flag, in 1893 and named Campania. Liverpool-New York service. Sold to British Admiralty, British flag, in 1914 and renamed HMS Campania. Rebuilt as an aircraft carrier. Sunk following a collision in the Firth of Forth in Scotland in 1918.
