VERONICA H. McCRAVE, of Finne Road, a retired Mine Safety Appliance Co. employee, died Saturday at home. She was the wife of the late Vincent G. McCrave. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John S. and Theresa (Sklutas) Kudzma, she lived in Johnston since 1974. Mrs. McCrave was employed by Mine Safety Appliance Co., Esmond, from 1959 until she retired in 1975.
She had been a volunteer at the former St. Joseph Hospital, now Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence, for many years. She was a member of St. Philip Church, Greenville, for 25 years.
She leaves two sons, Vincent G. McCrave of Davenport, Fla., and Robert D. McCrave of Johnston; a daughter, Veronica M. Baker of Boston; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from Hoey Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
